Social Aid Projects
This is the fifth year for the Krewe of Ann Jeffrey. Under the leadership of the founding member and current President, Rhody Nuccio, the objective of the Krewe is to live life with love, laughter and leave behind a legacy of hope for the future by giving back to Tampa Bay.
The Krewe of Ann Jeffrey is working on projects to reach out to those with disabilities in our community. There are several thousand people with disabilities in our area alone that need support and local involvement. The Krewe is involved with the Guardianship for the Advocacy for the Disabled and the Guardian Angel Project which is funded through contributions from the area to help those with disabilities. This year we are also raising money to help fund research for Adult Meningitis and Autism. These two charities have personal meaning to our Krewe.
Former President and founder of the Krewe of Ann Jeffrey, Susan Toll, has a sister who is disabled and has been involved with helping people with disabilities all of her life. She has seen the struggles that are faced on a daily basis. As a person who is disabled gets older, they are sometimes left behind. Susan strongly feels the Guardian Advocacy program will be a positive avenue to help people that are unable to speak for themselves.
